Theta Zeta Lambda Scholarship Fund
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Theta Zeta Lambda Chapter and the Theta Zeta Lambda Scholarship Fund will award a minimum of seven $1000 scholarships to deserving high-school seniors planning to attend college in the upcoming year.
Strong candidates will have demonstrated improved self-esteem, academic performance, social awareness, problem-solving and decision-making skills during their high-school careers. The scholarship is non-renewable. Since the early 1980s, Theta Zeta Lambda has awarded to high-school students more than 105 scholarships totaling more than $75,000.
In November of 2014, The Theta Zeta Lambda Scholarship Fund Trust, which was established in 1985, was re-established as an IRS 501(c)(3) public charity created to receive tax-deductible endowment gifts.

Purpose
To provide scholarships to youth with a minimum of 50% of scholarships going to those who are economically disadvantaged.
Vision
The Theta Zeta Lambda Scholarship Fund provides a minimum of seven $1000 scholarships from investment income only, which assist students who desire the opportunity to earn a college degree and create the future. Additionally, the fund engages men and women as role models and business and nonprofit leaders who seek to make a difference in the community. The fund will operate efficiently and effectively as the result of a tight operational structure. These attributes will make supporters feel honored and proud, happy and enthusiastic.
